The Unreal Engine created by Epic games is now available for free for anyone to check out. UE4 is the current version of the game creating engine, which was previously available as an subscription based product. The popular engine has powered a wide array of titles including Borderlands, Bioshock, Arkham City, and every major Epic Games release.

Developers who use the engine now will also be able to receive 95% of their products' profit, with Epic taking 5% for royalties.

Whether you're curious about game development and want to start with a flexible engine, now's a great time to do so with the free Unreal Engine!
