Gameplay revolves around the complementarity between the two principal characters: Nora, the young Eliatrope, and her brother dragon, Efrim. Nora is a close combat fighter, relying on her fists, feet, combos, and dimensional powers. Efrim is a long-distance shooter who is able to fly. They breathe the Wakfu in and out, bloom Wakfu flowers, and harvest Wakfu honey that can be used to buy upgrades for both characters. Control the third playable character, the Platypus, to pick up items, interact with the environment, and find secret passages."

The recent news of HD versions of Resident Evil 4 & Code Veronica was pretty exciting to hear about, and Capcom has officially confirmed that that is only the beginning. A new game is in the work for consoles, titled Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.

Operation Raccoon City is currently being worked on by some of the minds behind Sony's Online Shooter SOCOM, and is set to feature a 4-player co-op squad rather than focus on a specific character with a set story.

I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil series, and this change seems to be pretty interesting. I'm sure that we'll hear more about the game soon, possibly showing gameplay at this year's E3.

This weekend I'll finally try to complete New Vegas working for Mr. House, since I've yet to see how that option ends, while I near the near of Enslaved. I've also gotta play some more Stacking, since I haven't played that in a while. Besides these games, I'll probably try to put more into Dragon Age II.

Hope you all Have a great weekend of gaming!

It's a rumor no more.

Capcom has announced the Resident Evil 4 & Resident Evil: Code Veronica will be coming as downloadable titles to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. In Japan, gamers will be able to pick these games up in a collection retail disc, while those in the U.S will grab both separately. No price yet, but I'm sure it will be more than $10. Both of these games are fantastic, with Resident Evil 4 being one of my all-time favorites. I can't wait to play that game again.

Look out for these remakes in the Fall.

The House doesn't always win.

I first picked up Fallout: New Vegas like many of you might have back in October. About a week later, I took it back. Somehow when I fired a weapon, I would receive a message that my controller was disconnected. When I hot-keyed apparel, the game would freeze. Even worse was key quests would not be completed even though the requirements were met.

I really wanted to play this game at launch, but it just would not let me.

Skip to 2011, I decide to pick the game back up again after hearing of multiple patches being implemented, and a discounted price.

50 hours later, I'm still playing this game.

Fallout New Vegas is everything you loved about Fallout 3, and pretty much just more of that with a few tweaks to give it an Obsidian feel. The action this time takes places in the Mojave Wasteland, home to factions of people who seek to control the Hoover Dam and the Neon heaven that is New Vegas. Why can't they? The man who saved New Vegas with his knowledge of society and technology, Mr. House, and he isn't ready to give up just yet. Plus, he's got control of the securitrons, so no one wants to make a move against him, and that's when you come into play.

It's no spoiler that you play as a Courier who finds him/her self with a bullet in the head after being ambushed while delivering a package. From the moment you awake thanks to people of Goodsprings, your goal is to find out why and who shot you.

Your adventure will take anywhere from 20-50+ hours all depending on how much you want to put into the game. You could strictly focus on the main quest and still find yourself losing hours of sleep while you explore the Mojave.

Combat is still very familiar as well, but if you play in 1st person, you now have an option to aim down the sight of your weapon which make headshots a bit easier when not using V.A.T.S to help. Speaking of V.A.T.S, it's still as helpful as ever, and special attacks can be seen when using VATS depending on what you choose to level up.

The main differences from this game compared to Fallout 3 are more about interactions with your new companions and the many factions you can interact with. When choosing to interact with companions, a new radial menu will appear and allow you to choose commands you wish for them to use. Besides talking to them and trading equipment, you can command how they attack, whether it be with melee weapons or at a distance with firearms.

Most of the companions will have a few quests you can complete in order to learn more about them and help to gain their trust. A nice little bonus can be given as well, since each new companion will offer you a unique perk every time they accompany. The limit for companion has been cut back, so you can have one human or nonhuman companion, and a animal in your party. It sucks at first, but you should be able to get by with no problems.

The main factions that wish to take over New Vegas are the NCR, Caesar's Legion, the Great Khans. These factions are in a battle of control, and you can either aid or sabatoge their attempts. Be careful when looting their bodies though; wearing their apparel in view of an enemy will cause them to attack, so be careful where you wear their gear. There's more to these guys, but it's attached to the main quest, so I'll stop here.

If you're up for a challenge, you can try out Hardcore mode. In this mode you're tasked with maintaining your characters health by frequently eating and drinking to prevent dehydration. Stimpaks will not heal instantly anymore and sleeping will no longer heal you. Worse is that upon being crippled, the only way to fix this is to locate a doctor or use a doctor's bag. It's tough, put will offer up great rewards...ok you only get a achievement for doing this, but it's still a fun mode to play in.

Despite the initial problems I had with this game, Fallout New Vegas is a worthy iteration in the series. I wish the problems were fixed earlier, but with so much available to you in this game, it outweighs the problems.

This weekend I'll probably still venture through the Mojave Wasteland with Fallout: New Vegas, and will dig into the Dead Money DLC since I picked that up. I've been playing a ton of this game lately, but I also want to play some more Beyond Good & Evil HD, and a little more of Stacking since I haven't played those in a while.

Hope you all Have a great weekend of gaming!

The big movie this weekend is Battle: Los Angeles and the game is available on XBLA. I saw the movie todaym and thought it was pretty good, but I didn't even know the game was out. From the screenshots, It looks to have decent visuals, so I wonder how the game will play.

Check out more below:

Gonna try and stay consistent with this feature this time:

For the RPG side of gaming, I've been juggling between New Vegas and Dragon Age II. I feel pretty close to the end on New Vegas, but will probably end up creating a villainous wonderer once I finish with my current character. For Dragon Age II, my character Aladion Hawke will continue his quest to have a high enough cunning and dexterity to wear Sir Issac's armor.

This week I picked Guardian of Light, which you can still grab until Sunday for 600 MSP. It's really fun and the free Kane & Lynch pack is pretty cool as well. Last, but certainly not least is Enslaved. Man, this a fun game! I picked it up when I went to pay off Dragon Age II and grabbed it for $17.99 Pre-purchased.

Hope you all Have a great weekend of gaming!

From now and back to the initial release of Call of Duty: Black Ops, Treyarch's latest Call of Duty game has sold 13.7 Million copies across all available platforms. Congrats to Treyarch & Activision for such a bit hit. I wonder if Modern Warfare 3 can surpass that.

On the Microsoft side of things, Kinect has made a big impact to the industry. It is now recognized as the fastest-selling consumer device according to the Guinness Book of World, with 10 million devices sold, and about 10 million games, though I'm not sure if Kinect Adventures is counted in that. With rumors swirling around about a price drop for the Xbox 360 S, I wonder if Kinect will drop a bit before the holidays.

Dragon Age II was released this past Tuesday for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. I personally picked it up for 360, and have been having a great time with it. I was curious to see what other people thought about it, and after browsing through a few forums focused on the game, I found that the sequel seems to be receiving some mixed reactions among a substantial amount of people.

The main negativity from the sequel seems to be it's initial changes, such as the combat, simplified customization and story mechanics influenced by Bioware's other Major RPG, Mass Effect. These changes were not doubt made to appeal to more players, as the same changes made from Mass Effect 2 were focused on getting more player into the action. It paid off greatly for Mass Effect, but I believe the original was a more casual RPG affair in the beginning.

Dragon Age: Origins was a pure RPG, through and through. It was more like KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic), and although I've sunk a good amount of time into the game, I still haven't completed it. I still wanted to pick up Dragon Age II, and after playing the initial demo, I was really impressed. The first thing I noticed was the new combat. When you want to attack, you press a button, just like an Action RPG. It was fun, and I like it, but many want the auto attack system used by Origins, and the PC versions of the game.

Maybe there will be an update made available for players who want to experience the game as they played last time, while still giving more accessible options for casual players new to RPG games. Overall, Dragon Age is a fun game to play, but has created some friction with players who want to play the way they want, which is totally understandable.

I'm not sure when I'll have a review of the game up, but look out for it in the near future!

Game Food For thought is just my way of writing about game topics as they come to me. It's 100% my own opinion, and a fun way to start a discussion.
