I played a little bit of the original Fear for the Xbox 360 and it played well enough. What fear did was bring together horror, squad based shooting, and slow motion together to round out a decent paranormal story. The FEAR 2 Demo is now available on the PlayStation Network and The Xbox Live Marketplace and gives players a sneak peek at whats to come on February 10th.

I first noticed when playing the demo that the visuals are much improved. The Character models looked great as well as the environment. Combat seemed fluid and fun and the Slow Motion adds to the gameplay while not being a tacked on gimmick. I recommend you check it out if you get a chance. F.E.A.R 2 Project Origin Demo requires 759 MB of space.

Check out Johnny Klebitz, member of The Lost Biker gang.

"Johnny is a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City, but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club's President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?"

I guess we will have to find out on February 17th. I just want to know how big the download size will be for the 1st of two planned episodes. I hope my 20 gig hard drive can hold it considering I usually have one 360 game on the hard drive along with a few Live arcade and Xbox 360 demos.

It's Superbowl Weekend! Besides checking out the game and the crazy commercials, I plan on gaming a little bit.

Left 4 Dead- Gonna try Expert. Again
Grand Theft Auto IV- Gotta practice my motorcycle skills in preparation for The Lost & Damned
Fallout 3- Making a new character to see how the Operation Anchorage items will do in the beginning of the game.

Have a good weekend!

I just completed The Operation Anchorage DLC for Fallout 3, which is available for 800 points, and felt like I got my digital money's worth. It took about 3 1/2 hours and featured new characters, weapons and locations to the already amazing Fallout world. So check it out and have fun with the cool stuff you'll receive upon completion!

Operation Anchorage will be arriving on January 27, 2009 for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. It is the 1st of three to be released. It will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10 U.S.D)

Kotaku recently posted their impressions of The Lost & Damned, which arrives via Xbox Live Marketplace on February 17. I'm really looking forward to this and here's a few reasons why:

New Weapons and Interiors to explore
Roughly 1/3 the size of GTA IV
Different Take on Liberty City through the eyes of a new character
New Multiplayer Additions

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost & Damned is set to be 1600 Microsoft Points ($10.00 U.S.D)

Here are the games that were played the most on xbox live for the week of January 12:

Arriving Wednesday to the marketplace is The Maw for 800 Microsoft points (10 U.S. Dollars). Here's a few details on the Game I know about so far:

Players Control Frank, an puny kind of alien who befriends The Maw, a small purple creature who when eats, grows to an intimidating size. You must use The Maw to assist you in this impressive looking 3d Action Adventure game. This one looks like fun, so check out the free trial to get a feel for the game and maybe it'll become an addition to your virtual game shelf.

Over the weekend I hope to play some of the following games:

Saints Row 2- have a few achievements I really want to get

Left 4 Dead- Co-op+Zombies=Awesome

Braid- Indie Masterpiece

There's a few of the games that will be in my box. Have a good Weekend Everyone!

Attention Call of Duty Fans: World At War has begun it's Double XP weekend. Playing any match allows for twice the experience and as a bonus to those who haven't beaten the game, the Nazi Zombies mode has been unlocked for all to enjoy. It was originally only available to those who completed the campaign mode.

I received a gift card for my birthday from one of my friends and saw a game I always thought about checking out. The Darkness is a game based of a comic book and was worked on by the same guys who created The Chronicles of Riddick Game. It is a first person shooter that contains elements from role playing games that fits together pretty well. Best part was that that game was only about 7 dollars. So if you see it somewhere, pick it up!

The Darkness is rated M for Mature for the following reasons:
Blood and Gore
Drug Reference
Intense Violence
Strong Language
Suggestive Themes

Heal The Land & Save The Day

Prince of Persia returns with a new prince and epic story
Prince of Persia returns with a new prince and epic story

+ Fun exploration elements
+ Easy Accessibility for all
+ Well Designed Story

- Not Very Challenging
- Frustrating Combat Moments
- Must take breaks from main objectives to collect objects in order to progress

Although this game is titled Prince of Persia, you are not playing as the original prince from sands of time. You play as a new prince, whose original goal in the beginning of the game is to find Farah, his donkey, not Farah from the other Prince game. That all changes when you bump into Elika. Without giving too much away, you must aid Elika in her quest to heal the land that has been corrupted.
Elika needs your help to defeat corruption and heal the land
Elika needs your help to defeat corruption and heal the land

The way you go about the game is a pretty straight-forward method. You reach an area with corruption, defeat the enemies, and eventually the boss in order to heal that particular area. Once that is done, you will need to go the next the next corrupted area. You are free to go in any order or land that you want, although a few will require a power up to access certain areas. These power ups each require a certain amount of light seeds, the games main item similar to orbs in Crackdown or Stars in Mario. These seeds, 1001 in total, appear after a land has been healed. Beware if you hate collecting things: you will need around 500 to complete the game so collect as many as you can before progressing to a new land.

The environment is fun to explore
The environment is fun to explore

The game is very user friendly so anyone should have no problem picking up and running around as the prince. The primary buttons have one function each, and the combat is very simplified as well. All the fights are one on one with Elika there to help you. You can never die and when failing a jump, Elika simply uses magic to reach you and you then retry the part again. This allows more time to play in my opinion, as you aren't dying due to cheap deaths or poor platforming elements. The game has virtually no loading sequences as well so you're more likely to play longer rather than failing on choke points found in other games. This may be a turn off for some as this makes the game a breeze in terms of difficulty to play, but I found it to be ok.
Defeat Corruption, Become a Hero!
Defeat Corruption, Become a Hero!

The presentation of the game is very well done and is visually impressive as the game is very closely resembled to the concept art made for the game. This game is more like The Sands of time and is one that is worth picking up. Many stores have lowered the price on the game, so you may find it for a good price. Recommended play for Prince of Persia and Adventure fans alike. 4/5
